LiuGong strikes a deal to use Caterpillar technology in its machines, making a dramatic leap in quality and preparing for a whole new phase in its development.

Trial production of LiuGong's largest wheel loader, the ZL100.

LiuGong began producing its first excavator, the WY40.

LiuGong begins trading on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange and Guangxi TianJin Machinery Co. Ltd is founded.

LiuGong partners with ZF Friedrichshafen AG to launch a new joint venture in Liuzhou.

Acquisition of Jiangyin Road Machinery factory and creation of the Jiangyin LiuGong Road Equipment Co. Ltd.

Guangxi LiuGong Excavator factory was founded and the first plateau wheel loader, the ZLG50G, was launched.
